Flattening perspective with lines.

The lighting or lack of sunlight made it possible for this to appear flat.

The bench was dappled with sunlight through the trees. I moved my angle to ensure I was square on to the bench and that the lens was in the same focal plane as the bench and took the image. It has been flattened by the lines but it is not perfectly flat.

I have tried to use distortion and use the diagonals to flatten this image, which has only partially worked.

Straight on shot even with some shadowing gives a very flat feel to this image.

Unusual angle for use bricks, which even though there is an element of shadowing gives a flat feel to the image.
