In the beginning there was φωτός and Fox Talbot

For the past 30 years I have worked for a major bank, however from the 9th September 2016, I have taken redundancy to concentrate on my love of photography.

So having just spent a lovely week in Portugal, I am now getting on with starting my degree. I have numerous books and documents to read and a lot of planning to do. I have never blogged before and have found this first one “different”, although I feel it can be something to enjoy.

The image below was taken hand-held with a Nikon D750 and a Tamron 24-70 f2.8 Di VC USD. (Settings in camera were 35mm, 1/250 sec, f11, ISO 400, Auto White Balance, Spot Meter)
